The Holocaust Museum Of Houston Texas
The Holocaust Museum in Houston, Texas is dedicated to a very important premise of world culture, ‘lest we forget’. The museum’s goal is to collect, preserve and exhibit as many items as possible related to one of the greatest atrocities of world history.
On permanent exhibit is rare, round-roof railroad car used to transport Jews to Hitler death camps in Germany. Recently an engraved plate has been discovered providing further provenance surrounding the story of this 25ft long cattle-style boxcar believed to date from 1942. Documentation by a German railway museum curator is included in the display.
